SCOUTS COME TO CHILLINGHAM

On the 20th September we were delighted to welcome the Whittingham Scout Group to Chillingham Park. Although the weather wasnt perfect, it did not seem to dampen the enthusiasm of the Scouts.

Denene took 24 Scouts for a long walk around the Park, where they learnt all about the Cattle and their precious environment, along with the history of Chillingham. Meanwhile, Ellie looked after 21 Cubs and Beavers in her new Woodland School area. This is located in the Church Wood, behind the Pavilion. It provides a great new facility for outdoor learning, whilst being in close paroximity to the facilities and shelter offered by the Pavilion.

The Woodland School is the latest addition to our educational portfolio, enabling us to offer a variety of safe learning options for primary school age children right through to tremendous research opportunities for mature students.
