OPENING 12th APRIL

Spring is certainly here! What a pleasure it has been over the last couple of weeks to see the sunshine, watch the cattle graze across the Park and listen to the bird song. With the longer days and better weather, come the people! Ellie, Rick, Lara and Emma have been very busy getting the Pavilion and vehicles ready for action and ready to welcome our first visitors of the year on Saturday 12th April.
The cattle have over wintered well. There have been 5 calves born already this year and we are expecting quite a few more over the next few months. They are enjoying seeking out the new spring growth, but still finding time for some bellowing, scraping, fighting and mating. In the woodlands around the Park, the majority of the Arwen windblow has now been cleared and Rick has spent the winter replanting the open areas.
From Saturday, we will be open 7 days a week until early November. There will be four tours a day and they can now be booked online. This season, we will be running a series of longer, walking tours with one planned every month. The Easter one is sold out but you can now book onto the one on the May Bank Holiday weekend. Walking tours can be booked in the Gift Shop on this website.
