The Wild Cattle of Chillingham and Chillingham Park are owned by The Chillingham Wild Cattle Association (CWCA).
The Chillingham Wild Cattle Association is a registered charity, founded in 1939 to keep these unique wild cattle safe for future generations. In 2002, the CWCA was given the opportunity to buy the 700 acre Park and re-unite the Cattle and their Park under a single ownership. The purchase was completed after a fantastic fundraising campaign, which saw many charitable trusts and private individuals contribute to the objective of securing the long term future of this unique herd.
