Membership Information

The Chillingham Wild Cattle Association (CWCA) was established as a charity in 1939 with the primary objective of managing the herd of wild cattle in perpetuity. In order to help fund this task, the CWCA was established as a Membership Organisation. It took actual ownership of the herd in the 1970s. In 2005, the CWCA was able to purchase the Cattle Park, so re-uniting the cattle, their Park and their management under one banner.

Today, the CWCA continues in its mission to preserve the Chillingham Wild Cattle for the benefit of the nation and wider world, and it still relies upon its Membership to help it with this mission.

If you would like to play your part in the long term survival of this herd, then please do join the CWCA today.
