STEPHEN HALL’S NEW BOOK NOW ON SALE

Nobody knows more about the Chillingham Cattle and their Park than Prof Stephen Hall. His first involvement at Chillingham was in the 1970s and he has been involved in various capacities ever since. Not only has he conducted much research in the Park, but he has promoted the Cattle and the Park as a research resource and co-ordinated much of the ensuing work.

Now, he has recorded all his experience in a new book, which was launched on 13th Sept at Chillingham Castle. The book is entitled “Wild Cattle of Chillingham – a natural history of an ancient breed” and it is now available to buy in the Pavilion and via this website in the Gift Shop page.

Stephen did provide the Pavilion with quite a number of signed copies. These disappeared rather quickly so we dragged him back to sign some more. So if you buy a copy soon, it is likely to be signed by the author.
