You know we have not seen Twolegsnahat for ages. I wonder what has happened and there are no visitors here now even that clot Twolegs is not taking them round. Too chicken I expect. It will be my horn that’s what’s put the wind up him.

It is still cool here but the grass is still growing though lots of the trees have lost their leaves for some reason. I wonder if they grow more like we do. Our lot have been growing thicker coats while the trees have been shedding theirs – well we’ll be right of course because we always are – dopy trees, when will they ever learn?

The thin legged lot have stopped burping away in the woods and have given up on the leapfrog for some reason. The big bucks with the fancy horns are looking wrecked and are just lying about in the woods. Funny things the thin legged lot. They have also changed their coats from the sable colour of the summer to a much thicker (like us) and darker coat. They are quite hard to see now in the woods.

There are lots of large birds flying overhead sometimes making honking noises, I wonder where they have come from. I wonder where they are going.
