Special Tours for 2023.

We can now offer specialist Photography Tours. These tours are by arrangement with the Warden as Ellie or Rick will take you right in amongst the cattle in our Polaris Ranger. It can accommodate two guests and the tour costs £100. Out of hours, or out of season, we can take up to 5 photographers on tour (£50 a head) using the Land Rover. Availability will depend on ground conditions.

Dont worry if photography is not your thing. We can take you in the Polaris without the need of a camera, again for £100. We call these the “Up close and personal” tours, and they certainly are. You may have seen Robson Green and Si King enjoying just such an experience on the recent TV show.

In the winter, we use the Polaris to take hay out to the Cattle so they are very comfortable in its presence. You can get a great deal closer than you can on a walking tour. Just dont touch!
