We’ve been featured on BBC Look North – watch it here

To coincide with the launch of our new book about Chillingham’s unique wild cattle, historic castle and church, and the family associated with the since the twelfth century, BBC Look North came and filmed with us. This feature was aired on BBC 1 at 6.30, in May 2016 and focuses on the three main areas of the castle and grounds: the Church, the cattle and the ghosts. On the night of broadcast, it was seen by more than 300,000 people in the North East and Cumbria.
Carol Malia, Look North Presenter, acted as reporter for the day and was given a tour of the church and castle before getting up close to the cattle in an all-terrain vehicle. Cameraman Keith Blackburn, filmed the feature using the BBC drone and the cattle were very obliging, allowing a long look at their young before parading off into the wilds.
