Badgers out and about.

We now have quite a large population of badgers within and around the Park with several active sets. These animals are generally nocturnal so are seldom seen by visitors.
However, the recent spell of dry weather has meant that they cant feed as easily at night as they would like. Thus, they are out and about during the day rather more than normal and can be seen during the cattle tours. With the forecast set fair for the next 2 weeks, it is likely that this daytime activity will increase.
