Little Wildlings

Join us for six weeks of gentle, nature-filled adventures designed especially for our youngest explorers.

Little Wildlings is a relaxed, welcoming forest school inspired group for toddlers and pre-schoolers, offering hands-on outdoor play that supports confidence, curiosity, and connection with the natural world. Sessions take place in Wildling Woods, our purpose-built woodland learning space, and follow Forest School principles with plenty of child-led exploration.

Session Details

• Ages: 18 months – 5 years

• Day: Tuesday mornings

• Time: 10:15 – 11.45

• Cost: £33 per child for the full 6-week block

• Dates: 8th, 15th, 22nd,  29th September & 6th, 13th October

• Note: We only take bookings for blocks, we don’t do PAYG sessions for our weekly groups.

All children must be accompanied by an adult (maximum of 5 children per adult).

What to Expect

These sessions are ideal for little ones who are just beginning their outdoor learning journey. Through play, exploration, and shared experiences, children are gently supported to build:

• confidence and independence

• coordination and physical skills

• early social skills

• curiosity and a love of the outdoors

Activities will vary with the seasons and may include simple crafts, nature walks, sensory play, storytelling, and group games, with lots of space for children to follow their own interests. Grown-ups are encouraged to join in too, making this a special shared experience with your child.

Sessions include plenty of free-play with our spectacularly well-stocked mud kitchen, rope swings, dens and lots of fun things to climb on.

Snacks and drinks are included.

Accessibility at Wildling Woods

To reach Wildling Woods, there is a short but noticeable slope up from the Wild Cattle Pavilion. Most families manage this without difficulty, but it’s helpful to be aware before booking. Some sessions may also include short walks further afield.

If you or your child have any mobility considerations, big or small, please get in touch before the block begins. We’re very happy to chat things through and can provide photos of the access path so you can decide whether the site is right for you.
