There you are. I said they were growing and now you can see em’.  What a cracking pair of horns they are going to be.  Some of the cousins have nothing showing yet so  I had better make the most of it and give  them ‘what for’ now.

We have spent a lot of time in the trees out of the sun and the burn is right there so the aunts and uncles just pop down for a drink then more lazing about. We all go out to graze when it cools down a bit and as it is dark for such a short time there is lots of time for grazing and lots of time for lazing.  There is also a bit of leapfrog going on but I am not going there!

All the trees have their leaves on but Mum tells me last spring it was so cold for so long that some of the trees only started getting leaves about now. I don’t think I would like a spring like that. I do like the sun and the long grass and the lazing about.

Twolegs has been thrashing about in the fenced bits of the park. It looks as though he is attacking little trees and bracken with a long shiny thing – idiot. Mum says he is always doing it and surely he must have noticed that the bracken dies off later anyway so why waste the effort?  She thinks he must have a very short memory.

Something strange has happened where the noisy digging thing was.  It has dried up in those places I wonder how that happened. I wonder if Twolegs had anything to do with it apart from nearly being eaten by the noisy digging thing.

There are some strange things going on round here I can tell  you.
