Chillingham was the estate village for the castle. There is only one turning in the village, at the north end of the castle wall. Turning down the road, you pass the old school, the Home Farm, the Estate House, the gardens, the Manse and East Lodge, before arriving at the Wild Cattle parking area and Visitor Pavilion.
